Cooking Class Demo
Production by Ethos Media and our production partner, Campus Reels. Video edited by Campus Reels. Our combined efforts produced a number of training videos demonstrating the types of dishes that can be prepared utilizing the Thermomix device. We utilized our Sony FX6 cameras on a pre-made kitchen set where we also positioned an overhead camera for a unique perspective on the process.
Medical Device Quick Start Guide
Produced for Belluscura, this quick start guide video shows users of their X-PLO2R oxygen concentrator the basics of how to effectively set up and utilize their device. We produced this in a household setting and combined additional graphics with professional voiceover to create the finished product.
Demonstration and Training Videos
In this blog post, we will discuss what to know about demonstration and training videos before you have us hit the record button. Our goal is to ensure we all have a mutual understanding of what to capture, how, the logistics involved, and what elements we add in post-production that could have implications on the filming process.
- In demonstration and training videos, an animated sequence and/or title graphic usually opens each video to inform the viewer what they are about to see. We can custom produce this from scratch or from a pre-made template that can be updated with custom text and your logo.
- In general, a multi-angle production is recommended, especially if the demonstration involves a physical thing on the set.
- If your backdrop is not a pre-built set that we can customize with our lighting, other options include a solid color background or green screen, with the intention of replacement in post-production with a digital backdrop. Digital backdrops can be a variety of things including a simulated real set, gradient background, or animated backdrop.
- When choosing a place to film your content, a studio is generally recommended. However, our production setup can be brought to your location, which is generally recommended if physically moving your device or object of demonstration is impractical.
- If you want to incorporate graphics on screen that you control via computer (ex: PowerPoint slide deck), we can absolutely facilitate this process for you both on the film set and in the edited video(s).
- Need music? We can add royalty-free background options in a wide variety of styles to ensure that your video remains free of copyright strike, if posted on public platforms like YouTube.
- Consider using teleprompter to deliver your dialogue. Especially for longer recordings, this is recommended to ensure accurate wording and consistency from take to take.
- Make a mistake during recording? No problem. We’ll make sure we have someone taking notes to ensure that portion of content is worked around during the edit.
It is generally advised that, if you have multiple videos you want to produce, you have them recorded all in the same day in order to reduce costs. Turnaround time is contingent upon the length of each video, complexity of the post-production process, and quantity of videos you want produced. Generally speaking, initial drafts can be expected within one to two weeks. We invite you for a no-obligation consultation by contacting us to speak with a producer. Also, don’t forget that during the filming process, high resolution photos can also be taken of your device to provide an additional tool for training and/or marketing.
